Vol. I contains the text, Vol. II the Introduction (324 pages) and Appendix (Notes on Select Readings, 140 pages, Notes on Orthography and Quotations, pp. 141–188). Vol. II is the work of Hort and it is far and away the ablest discussion of the science of the textual criticism of the Greek New Testament in existence.
